March
March marks the beginning of an exciting season for catfish enthusiasts. It’s a month where the waters come alive with the hustle and bustle of blue and channel catfish. Whether you’re after quantity or size, March offers a fantastic mix of both, making it an ideal time to reel in some impressive catches. March is an excellent month to catch numbers of blue catfish and for the first few weeks of March you’ll still have the opportunity to catch a monster TROPHY BLUE CATFISH mixed in with the numbers. Many of these March days will be some of the most action packed fishing of the year for blue catfish and it’s a blast to fish these patterns.
April
As we move into April, things truly kick into high gear. April is hands down the best month of the year for those looking to hook into some crazy numbers of blue catfish. It’s some of the most action-packed fishing of the year for numbers of blues. With plenty of action guaranteed, April promises an exhilarating fishing experience for all.
May
The crazy blue catfish action typically winds down in late April or early May and as we transition into May, the thrill continues. This month presents one of the best opportunities of the year to target big channel catfish in shallow waters using another very unique fishing pattern. With the waters warming up and the fish becoming more active, May offers a prime window to land some impressive catches of big fat channel catfish. Again, another pattern that’s an absolute blast to fish!
