North Texas Catfish Guide Service offers guided catfishing trips on the following lakes that are all within a short drive from the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.
We are always willing to come to your preferred lake for your guided catfishing trip to accommodate your preferences but at times one lake may be producing better than another in which instance we will suggest that lake and discuss the options with you.

Eagle Mountain Lake – Eagle Mountain Lake is located in Northwest Tarrant County just north of Fort Worth Texas. Fishing is excellent for blue, channel, and flathead catfish as well as trophy blue catfish. Eagle Mountain Lake is a short drive from anywhere in the DFW Metroplex.
Lake Lewisville – Located in Denton county between Dallas and Denton Lake Lewisville is a great lake for catfishing in North Texas. Lake Lewisville holds excellent numbers of blue, channel, flathead and trophy blue catfish. Lake Lewisville is a short drive from anywhere in the DFW Metroplex.
Lake Worth – Lake Worth is located in Northwest Tarrant County within the city limits of Fort Worth Texas. Lake Worth is a small shallow lake but has HUGE populations of catfish. Lake Worth catfishing trips are catch and release only despite the fact that it holds hug numbers of channel, blue, flathead and trophy blue catfish. There is a consumption ban on fish in Lake Worth so we typically only focus on this lake when our clients are ok with catch and release! Lake Worth is a short drive from anywhere in the DFW Metroplex.
Lake Ray Roberts – Located in Denton and Cooke counties just North of Denton Texas Lake Ray Roberts is a paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Lake Ray Roberts also has some excellent fishing despite it being one of the youngest lakes we fish. Lake Ray Roberts has excellent numbers of channel catfish and flathead catfish and an increasing population of blue catfish.
Lake Grapevine – Located in Grapevine Texas near DFW International Airport, Bass Pro Shops, the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Great Wolf Lodge Lake Grapevine is a smaller lake that packs a big punch. Fishing for channel catfish and blue catfish can be excellent and there is an increasing trophy catfish population as well as some monster flathead catfish.
Brazos River – Located in Parker County between Fort Worth and Weatherford in Tin Top Texas the Brazos River is one of the most scenic areas of water you will ever fish. This stretch of the Brazos river runs between Lake Granbury and Possum Kingdom Lake. This stretch of the river is deep and wide allows for easy navigation and great fishing. Brazos River guided fishing trips are best for channel catfish, blue catfish and flathead catfish. You will also be amazed at the wildlife along the river including bald eagles, feral hogs, deer and more!
