To say things have been hectic around here would be an understatement. Between trying to keep up with Learn To Catch Catfish, fishing, hog hunting and chasing the kids around I don’t know which end is up.

First, the fishing. The fish have been in a transition period and it looked like the bite for the big fish was going to get good and then warm weather set back in. We need another cold front or two to roll in and really kick off the fishing and get the bite fired up. The mark for the good big fish bite is usually the week of thanksgiving and it looks like that will be a good estimate again this year.

If you want to catch a trophy class blue cat on rod and reel then now is the time to get booked. I have a few November openings still and some openings for December, January and February.
